Fancy a short break
nzbiketrails run great long weekends with 2 to 10 days of riding involved. Stay at our favourite hotels and apartments in Wanaka, Queenstown, Clyde and Cromwell and let us look after the riding for you and your friends for the entire biking experience.
Our recommendation would be to fly into Queenstown, stay at the Kinross Winery and start with the ‘Best of the Queenstown Trails - there is up to 2 days of riding on these trails to cover much of what Queenstown has to offer. On the following day ride the new Kawarau Gorge (opening early 2026), followed by the Ultimate Experience on the Lake Dunstan Trail. On this day you would move accommodation and either base yourself out of Clyde or Wanaka.
The next days really depend whether you want to fly out of Dunedin or Queenstown. If we were flying out of Queenstown then the Roxburgh Gorge, Best 30km of the Otago Rail Trail and finishing up with the Wanaka & Hawea Trails before nzbiketrails transfers you back to the airport.
If flying out of Dunedin is your aim then this may include some other trails such as the Clutha Gold Trail or even the Harbour Loop in Dunedin.
We can create a tailored itinerary, with a dedicated luxury vehicles and support for your party. From pickup to drop-off we promise nothing but smiles. These trips can include accommodation and rides across Otago including the Wanaka/Hawea Trails, Dunstan Trail, Roxburgh Trail, Queenstown Trails, Otago Rail Trail and the Clutha Gold Trail.
